Family Planning Services

All doctors offer this service in normal surgery hours. We aim to offer a completely confidential family planning service to all our patients.

Cervical Smears

We firmly believe in preventative medicine in this Practice and as such all women are invited for regular “smear tests”. Women aged 25 to 49 years will be sent for every 3 years, and women aged 50 and over will be sent for every 5 years to have this test carried out. Please feel free to check with our receptionist that you are on the list. Our practice nurse would be happy to perform this examination for you if you so wish.
